Please note a change to the planned schedule: We had originally planned to gather with Ayya Tathaloka on Friday evening. We have moved this to Saturday evening, to allow our monastics to attend the event with the Walk for Peace monks (and Aloka the dog) in San Jose on Friday. We'd be delighted to see you in San Jose!
Community New Year Celebration
This week our community and many of our friends are celebrating the Astro-Solar New Year, in Sinhala Avurudu, in Thai Songkran, in Khmer Choul Chnam Thmey, and in Myanmar/Burma Thingyan -- a time of renewal, forgiveness, and honoring our elders and ancestors, and here at the monastery it feels distinctly that the season is turning to springtime.
You are welcome to join a gathering at Dhammadharini Monastery on Saturday, April 18th, to celebrate the New Year - a lovely springtime gathering of old & new friends.
