About the Event
We welcome you to join us for an online Sanghamitta Day gathering! We will be offering programs on Sunday, December 4th, and Tuesday, December 6th, to honor Sanghamitta Theri's journey from India to Sri Lanka - bringing the Bodhi Tree and the Bhikkhuni Sangha to Sri Lanka.

Sunday December 4th
- 9:30 - 10:30am (Zoom) Guided meditation and Q&A
- 1:00 - 2:30pm (Zoom) Sutta Study. Ven Suvijjana Theri will lead reflections on the teachings given by Mahinda Thero to Queen Anula, which led to her attainment of Stream Entry, and her inspiration to go forth.
Tuesday December 6th
- 7:00 - 8:30pm (Zoom) Evening program reflecting on Sanghamitta Theri, including "Walking in the Footsteps of Great Theri Sanghamitta" from Ven. Tathaloka Mahatheri
